Celebrity photographer Terry Richardson is outright denying numerous claims that he's sexually harassed models in New York Magazine's cover story titled "The Perverse Case of Terry Richardson."
"I don't have any regrets about the work at all, but obviously I don't ever want someone to feel like that," the 48-year-old photographer said. "It was never my intention. But also, people do things, and then they have regrets, and that's also nothing to do with me. Then don't do pictures like that again...I'm okay with myself about everything, and that to me is the most important thing."
Richardson has been accused of offering models high-profile jobs in exchange for sexual favors. Back in April, model Emma Appleton posted a message on Twitter that she claimed was from Richardson. It read: "If I can f**k you I will book you in [New York] for a shoot for Vogue." His rep has denied that this message was from the infamous photographer and Richardson reacted to the "ridiculous" claim, telling NY Magazine, "Who talks like that?"
He added, "It was never just me and a girl ever. It was always assistants, or other people around, or girls brought friends over to hang out. It was very daytime, no drugs, no alcohol. It was a happening, there was energy, it was fun, it was exciting, making these strong images, and that's what it was. People collaborating and exploring sexuality and taking pictures."
Meanwhile, a "prominent photography agent" had a different take on Richardson's shoots. "These girls are told by agents how important he is, and then they show up and it's a bait and switch. This guy and his friends are literally like, 'Grab my boner.' Is this girl going to say no? And go back to the village? That's not a real choice. It's a false choice."
Richardson also attempted to clear up another rumor. The photographer denied that he ever had sex with Lindsay Lohan. "Somehow she said we spent a romantic night making love at the Chateau Marmont. Which never happened. Then, on the internet, people are like, 'He did this and that.' But it's totally untrue."
