Natalie Portman's ring was designed by jeweler Jamie Wolf -- who has also made accessories for both Jessica Alba and Julia Roberts -- with the help of her fiance Benjamin Millepied. Jamie told InStyle that he and Ben had the 'Black Swan' actress' vegan ideals in mind when they made the ring, disclosing to the magazine that her stone is an old mine cut diamond, and the pave diamonds are certified as conflict-free, meaning no one was hurt or treated unfairly in the mining of the diamonds. The platinum is also from recycled metal.
"Ben was exceptionally thoughtful and dedicated and patient to make sure we had everything right," Jamie told InStyle.
