On Tuesday, Kirstie will make her modeling debut in a beautiful gown designed by Zang Toi, who's been a friend of the actress for more than a decade.

"I've known Zang since 1993," Kirstie said. "I did the cover of Redbook and I wanted something really beautiful ... he just has the most beautiful clothes, period."

As far as adjusting to the runway after years on screen, Kirstie said that there is one distinct difference between the two worlds.

"Models sort of more do what the designer wants them to do and actresses are sort of divas," Kirstie said. "So I'm going to have to be a model this week."
