Vogue's Andre Leon Talley on Oscar Fashion

Voguecontributing editor Andre Leon Talley chatted with all the glamorous stars on the Academy Awards red carpet on Sunday, getting the dish on what happens to their fabulous gowns when the night is over.

"I wish I had them all in one room," said Cameron of her past award show gowns. "But, you know, it's one of those things. They're not ours. We're just so fortunate to get to wear them for the evening."

Cameron described what it's like choosing a gown for the red carpet, calling it "a process of elimination."

"It takes a little bit of time," said Cameron, who dazzled in Gucci. "But it's a really fun exercise."

The mommies of the red carpet have youthful advisors providing fashion advice, as Jennifer Lopez revealed.

"One time my son was like, 'Mommy, that dress is so ugly. Take it off.' So he does have an opinion," said JLo, who wore Zuhair Murad. "My daughter just loves to be there when I'm getting ready. She's just a girl that way."
