False rumors of a Jennifer Lopez "wardrobe malfunction" made headlines yesterday during the Oscars telecast, but Vogue contributing editor Andre Leon Talley refuted the rumors and praised the star for her bold fashion choice.

"Her Zuhair Murad dress was absolutely perfectly appropriate," Andre said. "The double-stick tape is what came undone. The joke is on the spectator, not on JLo."

JLo's rep also denied the "wardrobe malfunction" claims.
