Vogue Contributing Editor Andre Leon Talley sat down for a rare interview with legendary fashion designer Tom Ford at his boutique on Los Angeles' famed Rodeo Drive, where the fashion icon opened up about what it's like dressing A-listers like Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Madonna and more.
One of Tom Ford's most memorable looks is the white cape dress Gwyneth Paltrow wore to this year's Oscars, which landed her on the top of countless best dressed lists.
"Gwyneth has an incredible body," Ford dishes to Talley. "She stands perfectly."
About dressing the notoriously opinionated Madonna, Ford compliments her self-assuredness.
"If there's anyone who knows who they are, it's Madonna. She knows what she wants," he puts frankly.
But what's the one thing the world's most famous women have in common?
"The nice thing about all those women is that they trusted me," the designer explains.
Check out the video for more of the rare one-on-one interview, including Ford's painful admission that he was bullied both verbally and physically as a child.
