Cinderella's fabled glass slipper is one of film’s most iconic images. Now The Walt Disney Studios and A-list designer Christian Louboutin have debuted a modern-day Cinderella-inspired slipper during Paris Haute Couture week.

"The slipper is the magic wand of transformation, which conjures confidence, beauty and love," said designer Christian Louboutin. Disney invited the famed designer to re-imagine the famous shoe in honor of Disney's global release of the classic masterpiece Cinderella Diamond Edition on Blu-ray this fall.

The design features two sparkling butterflies, crystal covered heels and Louboutin's signature red soles. "Her character and her story dictated the design to me, it was all there in the pages and the words of this tale," said the designer.

And you could have a pair of glass for your very own, as a few Cinderellas will have the chance to win one of the 20 original slippers created. Further details to be released soon.
