Katie Holmes is on a roll.

The fresh-faced beauty has just been tapped to be the first face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, a major beauty endorsement deal, Holmes confirmed to WWD. She will also act as the brand's muse and take on a collaborator role, as well.

"It's always exciting to meet new people but Bobbi is exceptional," Holmes says. "What a woman. ... It's makeup that's very accessible and it's stuff that you can throw on at 9 a.m. and it'll get you through the whole day. You just feel good. Sometimes it's just a lipstick or a blush and you suddenly feel like, 'OK, I can do this' -- whatever you need to do. So I'm very thrilled to be a part of this."

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is known for promoting a more natural look, and is sold at department stores and other high-end retailers. Holmes' first ad is due to debut in Spring 2013, while that fall, her name will appear on a capsule collection of color cosmetics.

Since her split from Tom Cruise, Holmes has seemed to focus her career towards fashion and beauty. Her 2013 Holmes & Yang ready-to-wear collection will show on Sept. 12 for the first time ever during New York Fashion Week.
