Last Week, Katie Holmes made her first public appearance since she filed for divorce from Tom Cruise at the 2012 Style Awards, presenting Carolina Herrera with the prestigious Designer of the Year honor, and we have your first look at the show airing this Friday.

Stunning in Herrera's own design, Holmes took the stage at the start of NYC Fashion Week wearing a black button-up blouse paired with a golden metallic skirt to present the fashion icon with her well-earned statuette.

"Carolina is truly an empire," praised Katie of the influential designer. "She has revolutionized the way women have dressed for 25 years, made looking beautiful looking easy for everyone and will continue to do so for years to come."
