Brad Pitt Debuts Full-Length Chanel Ad

"Every journey ends, but we go on," Brad Pitt muses in this just-released ad for Chanel N°5.

About a week after being treated to a handful of teasers, the very first full ad featuring the 48-year-old star had been released and, sporting a rugged goatee and shoulder-length hair, Pitt looks every bit the sexy spokesman we've been waiting to see.

"The world turns and we turn with it," he says intensely, looking straight to camera at times. "Plans disappear. Dreams take over. But wherever I go, there you are. My luck, my fate, my fortune. Inevitable."

Back in May, Brad Pitt made history when it was announced that he'd be the first man ever to front the iconic scent.

"To keep a legend fresh, you always have to change its point of view," Andrea d'Avack, president of Chanel Fragrance & Beauty told Women's Wear Daily. "It is the first time we've had a man speaking about a women's fragrance. We think very much that the perfume is a seduction between a man, a woman and the perfume. No. 5 is our leading fragrance, and we are willing to make the investment to keep it on that level."
