Add Kate Hudson to the list of celebrity designers.

Kate, who recently landed on all the best-dressed lists thanks to her stunning Alexander McQueen gown at this year's Golden Globes, is designing a capsule collection for Ann Taylor, which will mark the stylish 33-year-old's first foray into fashion design.

Kate's been the face of Ann Taylor since last year, when she starred in their well-received spring 2012 campaign. Her upcoming collection, which she worked closely on with Ann Taylor creative director Lisa Axelson, is reportedly inspired by her bold red-carpet style, but "reinterpreted" for everyday occasions.

The collection is set to hit stores in May.
