It's time to kick-start your Fall wardrobe with a stylish pair of boots. Celebrity stylist Lindsay Jackson tells us which boot trends we can expect Hollywood's elite to rock this season.
"I think that we're going to see a lot chunkier, thicker heels. There's a lot of color going on out there. Grunge is coming back a little bit," she explains. "So a little thicker kind of boot, but still feminine."
This year The Frye Company
celebrates their 150th anniversary, and Jackson proves a great quality boot can go a long while while reminiscing about her first pair of Frye boots.
"I think I was in high school. There was the low-cut classic boot that I needed to have. All my friends had it. I needed to have this boot. I went and I got it and I literally, to this day, still wear it," she recalls.
So if you want to stride like the stars, try out styles that are studded, have buckles embellishments in the leather, or any type of hardware that will give a classic boot a bit of edge. And for those less daring, don't worry, over-the-knee boots and booties are still very much on trend.
