With this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show just around the corner, ET got a behind-the-scenes look at the casting process and caught up with some of the auditioning models to find out how they get ready for the runway.

The taping of the show, which will air on December 10, will soon take place, which means that the models who aren't Angels are being finalized. ET met up with Sharam Diniz, Magdalena Frackowiak, and Martha Hunt after their auditions to find out how they prepared for the important day and the runway in general.

"You're definitely working out a lot more," said Hunt, 24, who hasn't walked in the show before. "...I've been trying to cut out processed foods, cutting out the junk; less carbs, but I love carbs, so that's kind of hard; more protein; more vegetables. Just feeling fresh, not drinking too much."

Frackowiak, a 27-year-old Polish model, said it's an all-year process of a healthy lifestyle—including exercise, lots of water and beauty sleep— to become selected for the VS Fashion Show, which she's achieved twice.

Diniz, from Angolan and Portuguese descent, revealed that in addition to a healthy diet, a combination of Zumba and Pilates gets her in tip-top shape for the runway. The 22-year-old was selected to appear in last year's show, which she said was a dream come true for her.

While producers Monica Mitro and Edward Razek admitted that they were marginally disappointed by the outcome of the 60 auditions they held last Friday at Victoria's Secret's New York office, they were surprised how fit the models were this year.

"I'm seeing a trend of [the models] working out more than ever," Mitro said, in awe. "...They're really concerned with their health. Their bodies are looking hard. ... They're all getting into it and they're all training for today. There's been a lot of great bodies."
