Legendary actor Bill Murray once again proved why he's one of society's most beloved eccentrics when he showed up at a golf tournament early Thursday morning in what could be the greatest golf outfit ever.
The 63-year-old actor ditched the traditional pastel plaid golf trousers for Pabst Blue Ribbon pants, and while he did wear a more traditional sweater, it was covering a retro Caddyshack printed tee. The shirt featured a picture of the Dali Lama with a golf club, and the words "Big Hitter" underneath, a reference to one of Murray's most iconic scenes in the classic comedy.
The splendor of the situation was captured by WJTX reporter Elizabeth Campbell in a twitpic:
While another spectator was able to shoot a Vine of Murray talking about his epic shirt:
Murray can currently be seen playing a concierge in Wes Anderson's critically acclaimed The Grand Budapest Hotel, and is set to star in Rock the Kasbah, an upcoming Barry Levinson film in which he plays a has-been music manager who discovers a talented young singer while stranded in Afghanistan after a series of increasingly unfortunate events.
