Though we're pretty used to supermodel Gisele Bundchen's famous face plastered all over ads from Dolce & Gabbana to H&M, it's safe this is one look on the gorgeous 33-year-old that we've never ever seen before.
In the just-released Balenciaga campaign, Gisele trades in her famous waves for a super-edgy buzz cut.
The model acted as muse for Balenciaga's new artistic director Alexander Wang, who took over after designer Nicolas Ghesquiere exited in 2013.
"This is how I see Gisele for Balenciaga; strong, powerful, mysterious and uncompromising," Wang told Women's Wear Daily
about the already headline-making image.
In the black-and-white snapshot by photographer Steven Klein, Gisele looks moody in black thigh-high boots, looking fierce in a room filled with cracked mirrors.
"This season we worked with this idea of vanity, staged in a room filled with mirrors. But the cracked mirror is a continuing thread from the marble veins and creeping ivy leaves from seasons past," Wang explained.
