That's one way to make a red carpet statement.

While Amber Rose stunned in a barely-there metallic gown, hubby Wiz Khalifa stood by in a white collared shirt and black pants. The kicker: his shirt was covered in newspaper clipping-type graphics about suicide and topped off with the phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

It was not immediately clear why Khalifa went with such a bold red carpet choice. The move comes just one day after a man was shot and killed at his concert, reportedly backstage. Wiz tweeted about the loss: "This was a senseless tragedy. Violence is never the answer. My prayers go out to the victim's family."

Khalifa released his fifth studio album, Blacc Hollywood, last week.

Suicide has been at the forefront of national consciousness of late, with Robin Williams tragically taking his own life earlier this month. It was later revealed that the beloved funnyman, who famously battled with addiction and depression, had recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
