The great and powerful Beyonce is proving yet again that her brand as the bellwether of fashion and culture hasn't tarnished as she poses for CR Fashion Book's fifth issue.
Before revealing that "Drunk In Love" singer would be the cover girl, CR Fashion Book released a photo of a masked model, and told everyone that they should "start guessing" who would be the face of the issue.
After the announcement was made, the publication wrote on their site, "The empress of pop meets a force of fashion. In her first collaboration with Carine Roitfeld, the ever-changing Beyonce expresses her many moods, manners, auras and multifaceted characters. All hail!"
All hail, indeed.
Queen Bey wasn't just content with simply looking amazing in the fashion spreads, she also wanted to send a little love to her daughter Blue Ivy, who she reveals to be her biggest muse.
So, utilizing the timeless art of poetic verse, and collaborating with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Forest Gander, the pop icon wrote this prose poem about her life, her daughter and her music:
The Fall/Winter issue of CR Fashion Book hits shelves September 4, which happens to be the "Crazy In Love" singer's 33rd birthday.
