With a wedding in Venice, the photos captured from George Clooney's wedding weekend was obviously going to be stunning given the picturesque setting. And yet, his bride Amal Alamuddin managed to stand out even more so than the location due to her fashionable attire.
The 36-year-old clearly has impeccable taste. Her multiple looks were both classy and brilliant—much like her career as a human rights lawyer.
Kicking off the weekend in Italian fashion on Friday, she donned a classic black and white Dolce and Gabbana dress. It looked like something right out of Roman Holiday.
She changed into something more dramatic for Friday night in a scarlet and black Alexander McQueen Resort collection dress with a high-low hemline. It was the perfect gown for the night before her wedding when celebrated with a girls' night out with her friends, sister and mother while Clooney had drinks with his guy friends.
On Saturday, the bride's wedding dress remained a secret although it was rumored to be an Oscar De La Renta creation.
The rumors of Oscar de La Renta as her wedding designer were true. Vogue was there for Amal's final fitting, and the publication shared this photo of her in the stunning cream Oscar de La Renta custom-made gown with French lace, pearls, diamente accents, an off-shoulder neckline and full train.
The day after the wedding, the couple was spotted looking very in love for a Sunday brunch.
She wore this gorgeous white Giambattista Valli Couture 5 macrame embroidered dress.
And with all these amazing dress changes, she mixed up her look for the civil ceremony in Venice on Monday. Wearing a Stella McCartney white two piece Bespoke suit with black detail and a cream Beckette clutch to match, Alamuddin may just be the most fashionable city hall attendee. The only thing that makes this outfit better is her floppy hat.
Congrats to the fashion-forward newlywed!
