Sarah Jessica Parker is keeping the giant headdress tradition alive!

At the 2015 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute gala, the former Sex and the City star rocked a massive, flaming headdress with long, cascading scarlet tassels made by designer Philip Treacy.

The fiery style was in stark contrast to the 50-year-old actress’ flowing black gown, and gave her a very unique look on the star-studded red carpet.

The headdress's vaguely Asiatic artistry was inspired by the gala's theme this year, which is "China: Through the Look Glass," and is meant as a celebration of China's artistic fashion legacy.

This isn't the first Met Gala where Parker's made headlines with a flamboyant headdress. In 2013 the actress stunned in a large gold head piece with long, blue plumage.
