Fashion’s biggest risk-takers always go all out for the annual Met Gala and this year, Katy Perry really nailed it!

"I just want to win the award for best nails tonight because I'm going to be stuck on so many random models’ dresses," the singer said of her long black and gold manicure. "It's going to be such a pain in the butt tonight."

Perry lamented that she couldn’t run her nails through her short-cropped "Kris Jenner hair," and was excited to hear that the legendary "momager" was also in attendance at the gala.

"Listen, Kris Jenner is very important to me," Perry told ET’s Brooke Anderson. "That is not sarcastic at all. She has a great sense of humor and she's kind of like the mother of everyone."

In fact, Perry has love for the whole Kardashian/Jenner clan, as well as their contribution to American culture.

"I was thinking the other day, we've all had our own commentary on the Kardashians, but if they hadn't existed, we wouldn't have had the fantastic Bruce Jenner who is just evolving everybody right now with all of his wonderfulness," she observed. "So, the Kardashians in my book are completely valid."

The singer even took a page out of Kim Kardashians’s book at the gala, snapping an epic selfie with fellow music and fashion icons Lady Gaga and Madonna, who was Perry’s designer partner-in-crime for the evening, as they were both wearing ensembles designed by Mosquino’s Jeremy Scott.

"Jeremy made this dress for me just for my record," Madonna told Anderson of her gown, which had her Rebel Heart album title scrawled on the side. "I love it! Custom made!"

"We're just the anarchists of the Met tonight," Perry said of her spray-paint inspired gown and purse, which some considered off-theme. "You know, spray paint the Met this evening."
