Looks like Michelle Obama is getting some style inspiration from Lady Gaga!
FLOTUS channeled the "Edge of Glory" singer while welcoming Singapore's prime minister, Lee Hsien Loong, and his wife, Ho Ching, to the White House for a state dinner on Tuesday.
Obama wore a strapless white gown by Gaga's longtime stylist-turned-designer, Brandon Maxwell, to the formal fête, completing the ultra-chic look with stunning Butani diamond earrings and white acrylic nails.
If the ensemble looks familiar, it's because Gaga sported a similar getup -- a strapless white pantsuit with a long train also created by Maxwell -- while walking the red carpet at the 2016 Academy Awards in February.
And judging by her retweet of a story detailing the first lady's latest fashion choice, it appears Mother Monster gives Obama's look the stamp of approval!
Maxwell also took to social media to gush over his "very proud moment," Instagramming a photo of Obama alongside her husband, President Barack Obama, who was clad in a classy black tuxedo and bowtie combo.
In addition to Gaga, a number of A-listers have worn Maxwell's creations over the years, including Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Lopez, Karlie Kloss, Mariah Carey, Kate Hudson, Zendaya and Reese Witherspoon. See some of his best celebrity looks below!
