EXCLUSIVE: A Day in the Life of Olivia Culpo at New York Fashion Week

The former Miss Universe tells ET she has 'no fears' during a day that includes five wardrobe changes.

When it comes to New York Fashion Week, Olivia Culpo definitely means business!

The former Miss Universe let ET cameras get a peek of her busy schedule earlier this week, where she sported five -- yes, five -- different looks around the Big Apple.

As for how Culpo chooses her styles, the former beauty queen reveals it's not that much of a choice.

"For Fashion Week, obviously the designers want you to showcase their work, so they'll send you their clothes," she revealed. "You really don't get that many options because there are a lot of people coming to the shows, and there's a limited amount of clothing that they're going to be able to provide. So you work with a stylist usually, or you just kind of figure out what would work best."

"Usually there's a lot of tailoring involved because they're not quite fitted yet. They're not ready to wear, they're just straight off the runway, or not even shown in collections yet, so it's usually a really, really big process of tailoring," she explained, adding that she had "probably 15 hours" of fittings for NYFW. "Nothing ever fits the right way."

From there, it was on to look No. 3 for the Cushnie et Ochs fashion show, which was actually on the other side of town.

So how exactly did Culpo manage to pull off the wardrobe change? In her portable closet, aka the car.

"Traffic today was so bad," Culpo dished. "I'm happy that I had somebody on foot running with garment to bring it, because they were also stuck in traffic."

"You're going to run into everybody during Fashion Week. Everybody's here," Culpo said, adding that she's not even scared of a run-in with exes Nick Jonas or Tim Tebow. "I have no fears during Fashion Week. I change in cars -- no fears."

And with a final wardrobe change, and a new set of bangs, which only "lasted about one hour," Culpo headed off to her final event of the day in a stunning white Kaufman Franco gown.
