Don't let stormy weather rain on your style parade!
April showers bring May flowers but until spring is in bloom, our ETonline host, Katie Krause, wants to help you look your best while jumping puddles and braving the wet weather.
For a playful and vibrant look that adds a bit of sunshine to a gloomy day, she chose a pair of bright yellow rubber rain boots that pop against her navy Jennifer Lopez skinny jeans with gold zippers at the pockets. To ward off the cold and rain, she layered up with a sea foam green sweater by LC Lauren Conrad, a white peasant top and a classic denim jacket. The chevron tote matches the tones in the sweater and for a bit of sparkle, Katie added a multi-colored, beaded necklace. For an extra punch of color, she completed the get-up with a neon purple umbrella.

If you prefer a more monochromatic look, Katie found black rain boots with quilted detailing that add texture and class to any outfit and her skinny black jeans fit perfectly inside. The floral blouse provides a hint of color and is great for spring and the gun-metal statement necklace is a subtle adds a glistening touch to an overcast day. The black and navy parka is lightweight, water-resistant and features a hood that will keep your cute 'do intact.
To channel that inner Audrey Hepburn while trekking in the rain to work, Katie slipped into a pair of black patent leather heels that can weather the water and are short enough to walk in and still look professional. Her black midi skirt by Elle is chic and when paired with the white ruffled blouse is perfectly on-trend. The metallic gem necklace adds edge to the look and the light pink trench is girly and timeless.

Don't let a little rain keep you from rocking white. After all, it's spring! Katie paired a white eyelet tank with a matching white jean jacket and to stay extra cozy and warm she added an earth-toned scarf. To complete the outfit she found the perfect pair of black skinny jeans and olive-colored rubber rain boots. But it's the over-sized clear umbrella that steals the show!
