Lindsay Lohan has tangled with the law again, but we're flashing back to her innocent 'Parent Trap' debut on the red carpet when she was just 12 years old!

Way before her legal troubles, Lindsay was an optimistic child star full of promise and enthusiasm. She told ET's Mark Steines, "I'm excited. I'm, like, nervous, too."

Lindsay displayed a bit of a devious side too, revealing that she fibbed to her mom in order to be able to go to a friend's house. Watch the video!
