Betty Ford
In 1978, Betty Ford, the First Lady married to Gerald R. Ford 38th President of the United States, Betty checked herself into rehab for alcohol and drug abuse. She was addicted to pain pills and sleeping pills. After sobering up in rehab Betty went on to open up her own facility, The Betty Ford Center, which is a chemical dependency recovery center.
