An epic adventure is coming to the small screen! Fridays are getting a fresh take on an old tale. Daniel Defoe's classic adventure novel is getting a dramatic retelling. Philip Winchester stars as the dashing and ingenious Robinson Crusoe, who is shipwrecked on an a desert island. The show follows Crusoe and his sidekick, Friday, through the trials and tribulations of surviving island life. The show also takes a look at Crusoe's pre-island life through flashbacks.
This legendary epic also stars Sean Bean as Crusoe's father, and Sam Neill as a family friend. Watch the castaways' perilous adventures Friday nights starting Oct. 17.
