It's not on Blu-ray yet, but it's still a worthy Father's Day flick: Aussie star Eric Bana gets behind the camera to direct his debut feature film -- a documentary profiling his love affair with the "Beast," a 1974 Ford GT Falcon Coupe he bought at the age of 15 after seeing one in action in 1979's 'Mad Max.' "It was a pile of junk, but to me, it was the greatest thing I'd ever seen," says Bana. The film follows the star as he rebuilds his baby for the Targa Tasmania, one of the toughest and most dangerous motor sports in the world. Along the way, he seeks guidance from car enthusiasts and friends such as Jay Leno and Dr. Phil McGraw.

The 'Love the Beast' DVD is available exclusively on Amazon.com. Special features include filmmaker commentary and an interview with Eric Bana; the short film 'Targa Tasmania Rally'; 1970s Ford Falcon television commercials; "The Speed Merchants: The Targa Florio segment"; image gallery, movie trailer and more!
