Gwen Stefani Lights Up Rockefeller Center Christmas Celebration With Performance of New Holiday Tune

The singer shined at the festive, star-studded tree lighting ceremony where she performed 'My Gift Is You,' off her new Christmas album, 'You Make It Feel Like Christmas.'

The only thing that shined as bright as the huge spruce of honor at Wednesday's Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting ceremony was guest performer Gwen Stefani.

The singer took the stage during NBC's live two-hour special, Christmas in Rockefeller Center, rocking a shimmering silver-and-black triangle-pattered gown and looked absolutely flawless.

Stefani perfectly embodied the elegant sprit of a Big Apple Christmas with her long, blond locks and elbow-high black gloves.

The 48-year-old songstress simply stunned as she performed her new single "My Gift Is You," off her new holiday-themed album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas.

Stefani proved to be a heartfelt addition to the star-studded musical lineup -- which also included Harry Connick Jr., Seal, and Leslie Odom Jr. -- leading up to the hotly anticipated tree lighting.

Earlier this month, Stefani sat down with ET and opened up about recording her own Christmas album and how she hopes her holiday songs become seasonal classics.

"I feel like it's just one of those things where, if I got it right on this record, it will be around for a long time," she shared. "That's so different from like, a regular record [which] kind of captures that moment in time in your life, and when you hear the songs, it takes you right back to that, whatever the pain was, or happiness."

"It was a really super fun project, something I wanted to do for a really long time, kind of a bucket list thing, and it just happened," continued Stefani, who will also be appearing in her own NBC Christmas special, airing on Dec. 12. Check out the video below to hear more.
