Chris Heisser has been charged with four misdemeanor charges stemming from his DUI arrest in February.

The 56-year-old contractor and former AMA motocross racer, who is dating Heather Locklear, is due in court next Thursday for his arraignment.

As ET previously reported, Heisser was arrested around 12:43 a.m. on Feb. 26 by the California State Highway Patrol in Thousand Oaks, California. He was cited and released shortly after.

The arrest came just a few hours after Locklear was arrested on Feb. 25 after a domestic violence call was reported at a residence. In an initial investigation, police alleged that she had battered her boyfriend at the residence prior to their arrival. During the arrest, police said Locklear allegedly became combative and uncooperative, and allegedly battered three deputies.

Locklear's lawyer appeared on her behalf in court last Thursday, and entered a not guilty plea to four counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer and one charge of resisting or obstructing an officer. A pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 7.

A source told ET late last month that Locklear reunited with Heisser after returning home and sober from rehab in March. "Heather came out of rehab and went straight back into the arms of Chris Heisser," the source said.

"They are like oil and water, fighting nonstop," the source continued, adding that Locklear's family wants to see her and Heisser part ways. "Her family wants to see her focus on her health and sobriety and once that's in place, she can then start fresh with a new man. Right now, Heather is sober and she is in therapy. She is taking it one day at a time."

At the time, an additional source with knowledge of the situation also told ET that Locklear is continuing treatment at the same in-patient medical facility. Hear more in the video below.
