The stars of TV, film and music were moved to tears and occasional laughter at the funeral of their dear friend MERV GRIFFIN on Friday. After GOV. ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER delivered a warm and humorous eulogy, many famous faces told ET how much it meant to them.
Longtime friend and "Jeopardy" host ALEX TREBEK told us the eulogies were "special and more moving than I thought, because I had to borrow a tissue from PAT SAJAK's wife during the service. Catholic funeral masses are for some reason more emotional for me because I was raised a Catholic. And when you're dealing with a personal friend and someone who hired you to do the job you're doing, it becomes even more nerve-wracking. But there were a lot of laughs. The Governor spoke. He brought down the house a couple of times and I think that's the way Merv would have wanted it: 'Go out with a laugh, go out with a smile.'"
