Katherine Heigl, Mandy Moore and Alicia Silverstone were all on hand for the opening of famed Australian designer Peter Alexander's flagship L.A. store Wednesday night -- and ET's Thea Andrews got the fashion 411 from the three lovely and talented actresses!
ALICIA SILVERSTONE is set to return to TV! The 'Clueless' star is planning on starring in the ABC pilot "Bad Mother's Handbook," about a 32-year-old woman keeping busy taking care of both her 16-year-old daughter and her 48-year-old mother, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She made a name for herself on the big screen as a 'Clueless' Beverly Hills teen, but in real life, actress ALICIA SILVERSTONE is completely clued in to saving the environment -- and the celeb opens up her eco-conscious home in the latest InStyle Home magazine (on stands Friday) to show how she does it.
"I love living this way," Alicia tells the mag. "It's so satisfying and inspiring." The actress, who shares her L.A. abode with musician hubby CHRISTOPHER JARECKI, has long campaigned to save the environment, and she's found inventive ways to be green-conscious at home, whether it's using energy-saving appliances, putting solar panels on the roof, or even recycling the flooring from an old bowling alley to make her table top.
Last year was a big one for celebrity weddings, and in the February issue of InSyle, on newsstands this Friday, the biggest and most memorable star ceremonies are featured!
On CHRISTINA AGUILERA's big day with music producer beau JORDAN BRATMAN in Napa Valley, CA, the couple decided to hold their ceremony in a Renaissance-style temple complete with a hand-painted cathedral ceiling, beams swathed in burgundy and gold silk, and pews draped in gold organza. Approximately 130 guests watched Christina walk down the aisle in her Spanish-style CHRISTIAN LACROIX wedding dress to the strains of a choir and 14-piece orchestra playing "Morning Hymn" from 'The Sound of Music,' one of Christina's childhood favorites. The groom wore a black DIOR tuxedo. And during the reception, celebrity guests like SHARON STONE boogied to Christina's rendition of "Lady Marmalade" and danced the night away to the sounds of DJ AM while sipping pink champagne.
