NBC's hit series "The Biggest Loser" returns tonight with a special theme of "second chances," and returning for his second chance is last season's Daniel Wright, who was the biggest-ever contestant on the show -- until this new cast when Daniel is outweighed by Shay Sorrells. Alison Sweeney hosts the popular series, and trainers Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels return to train the 16 contestants eager to get their second chances at a new lease on life. "The Biggest Loser" premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on NBC.

The weight-loss hopefuls include a mother and daughter who were estranged for more than five years, a father with more life-threatening health issues than any contestant in the history of the show and parents who want to get healthy to be better examples to their kids -- including their four-year-old daughter who already outweighs their seven-year-old son.
