"The Amazing Race"'s 15th season kicks off with a special two-hour episode on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. on CBS. Contestants will travel one of the fastest courses ever assembled on the "Race" -- spanning eight countries in just 21 days. This season also features the quickest elimination in the history of the series, sending one team home before they leave the starting line. Teams fortunate enough to avoid the surprise elimination compete for the $1 million prize.

"Amazing Race" heads into its 14th season with an eclectic cast that includes a team of brothers who are stuntmen, a pair of flight attendants, a brother/sister team who are Harvard lawyers, a team of former NFL cheerleaders and the race's first-ever deaf contestant and his mother.
The exciting finale of the CBS reality show "The Amazing Race" concluded last night in Portland, OR, with the winners crediting their strong family ties.
"The Amazing Race" is back for its 13th season and again the 11 competitors are in for a once-in-a-lifetime experience as they race for the $1 million prize.
Cheerleaders KELLIE and JAMIE were given a one-way ticket home on Sunday night's "Amazing Race," when the two women took so many wrong turns that they became the third team eliminated from the competition.
The girls knew they were in trouble and admitted, "Today's our stupid day!" Even so, when host Phil Keoghan told them they finished last, Jamie took a positive approach to the experience, saying it had made her friends with Kellie for life.
"The Amazing Race" will begin its next 30-day trek around the world on Sept. 27 on CBS, when the Racers queue up at the starting line for another exciting competition. This time out the 10 teams won't be taking off in pairs, but foursomes, with the new twist that they all must be family members.
PHIL KEOGHAN is back as host for the eighth installment of the hit CBS reality series, which premieres with a two-hour special (9-11 p.m.). As before, each team will still face a series of challenges, mental and physical, as they make their way to the final destination and the $1 million grand prize.
"Boston" ROB MARIANO and AMBER BRKICH fell in love amid grueling challenges and scarce food on "Survivor," and they played out their engagement on the small screen as they criss-crossed the globe for "The Amazing Race." So it's only fitting that the TV twosome gets married in front of the world in a new CBS special, airing tonight at 9 p.m. And even though they traveled 40,000 miles without a fight on "Race," which is famous for breaking up couples, these two didn't bicker until it came time to register for gifts.
"We went to a store and we were trying to pick out what we were going to register for and within five minutes we were at each other's throats," Rob recalls. "I was like, 'Hold on. Let's take a step back.' We went home and got on the computer and did it on the Internet. It worked perfect. After I went to sleep, she went back on and added a lot more."
There were only three couples left when the two-hour finale of the seventh season of the "Amazing Race" began last night: engaged couple ROB and AMBER, husband and wife UCHENNA and JOYCE and dating couple RON and KELLY. But it was a sense of "amazing grace" that led to the $1 million prize for the winners of the race -- Uchenna and Joyce!
"I heard everybody's prayers for us," said a tearful Joyce at the finish line, as she and Uchenna thanked the other teams who cheered for their win. "This experience wouldn't be what it was without you guys," added Uchenna.
As "The Amazing Race 7" heats up with four teams eliminated and only six remaining to claim the big prize money, CBS airs an action-packed, two-hour episode of the reality series tonight, 9-11 p.m.
"Survivor: All Stars" winners AMBER and ROB finished last week's episode in first place. The couple has really kicked the game up a notch as Rob shows his gamesmanship, manipulating his way through a variety of challenges, added to which the duo seems to be really lucky when they stumble onto one of their destinations, helping vault them into first place.
"The Amazing Race" heads around the world in less than 80 days when the reality series launches its seventh season, Tuesday, March 1, at 9 p.m., with a two-hour special, on CBS. Along for the ride are two very familiar faces -- AMBER BRKICH, who won the $1 million Sole Survivor prize on "Survivor: All-Stars," and her fiancé and first-runner-up "Boston" ROB MARIANO.
"This is a different kind of game. It is not 'Survivor' we are playing," Rob acknowledges. "There is no threat. There is no competition in our eyes. That is not being arrogant. In this show, the only way you lose is if you come in last, so it is your own fault."
VICTORIA and JONATHAN fought their way around the world on "Amazing Race," now the combative couple stops by Dr. PHIL McGRAW's second primetime special, "Romance Rescue," airing tonight, at 9 p.m., on CBS, to discuss the problems in their marriage that were revealed as a result of their participation on the reality series.
"I think we asked some hard questions," Dr. Phil tells ET. "I think we drilled down on some tough issues. I think Jonathan was held accountable. That's very important. I think he got a chance to say what he wanted to say. I hope I asked the questions that America wanted asked."
There is nothing like a dame and exec producer JERRY BRUCKHEIMER, whose TV dynasty includes all three "CSI" series, "Without a Trace," "Cold Case" and the "Amazing Race," has cut quite a swath on CBS by including intelligent women on each of his shows. From MARG HELGENBERGER to EMILY PROCTER and MELINA KANAKAREDES, not to mention POPPY MONTGOMERY and KATHRYN MORRIS, Bruckheimer has populated his shows with the crème de la crème of actresses.
On tonight's ET, our MARY HART sits down with the producer when he drops by Stage 28 for a one-on-one interview about his fortuitous run. Bruckheimer's reign began five years ago with the launch of the procedural drama "CSI." It was quickly followed by "Without A Trace," "CSI: Miami," "Cold Case" and most recently "CSI: New York." And the top-flight exec producer also found time to try his hand at reality with "Amazing Race."
GARY SINISE and MELINA KANAKAREDES hit the "blue carpet" Tuesday night in Manhattan for the premiere of the third edition of "CSI," "CSI: NY." ET had the first position and we've got the highlights from the evening as the stars of the series arrived at the Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway.
"CSI: NY" began as an episode of "CSI:Miami," last May. Tuesday night, it came into its own as the crowd of stars and well-wishers viewed the premiere episode, "Blink." In it, the CSI squad has to track down a serial killer. The first victim is found in Brooklyn Heights and is assigned to Detectives Taylor (Sinise) and Flack (EDDIE CAHILL). Det. Bonasera (Kanakaredes) gets the call on the second victim who was discovered on a garbage barge. For those of us who weren't invited to the New York bash, catch all the action tonight at 10 p.m., when the series makes its official debut.
All they need is a camel, but there are none in sight! On tonight's "Amazing Race," self-proclaimed bowling moms from Palmdale, CA, LINDA RUIZ and KAREN HEINS are stranded in Egypt with no money, and no way to the next locale. Still they don't want to be counted out. After all, the grand prize is a cool million!
On tonight's ET, we have a sneak peek at tonight's episode, "Why Can't We Get a Camel?," airing on CBS at 10 p.m., as the No. 6 team fights to stay in the competition.
ET is at the AMA's! The "2009 American Music Awards" are underway and we have all the red-hot red-carpet arrival pics, including Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Rihanna, Adam Lambert and more!
