JOEY BUTTAFUOCO is a free man. The former tabloid sensation -- and point of a love triangle that resulted in "Long Island Lolita" AMY FISHER shooting his former wife in the head in 1992 -- was released from L.A. County Jail on Saturday after serving several months for a probation violation.
While serving time, ET's THEA ANDREWS had unprecedented access to Joey behind bars, and witnessed firsthand the intensity of living in the same high security area that once housed O.J. SIMPSON and ROBERT BLAKE.
Many of today's Hollywood stars go under the knife to fight the ravages of aging and improve their appearance, but MARY JO BUTTAFUOCO had plastic surgery for a different reason: she was shot in the head by AMY FISHER 14 years ago!
