In a new interview with The Los Angeles Times, JOHN RITTER's widow AMY YASBECK is speaking out for the first time about her husband's death, saying she believes it could have been avoided.
The beloved actor died on his daughter's fifth birthday, September 11, 2003. At the time, Amy believed it was not preventable. "The doctors told it to me like I was five and I told it to [our daughter] like she was five," she said in an interview with The Times. "The truth is, it's a lot more complicated and it's a lot more sad."
