Starting on Monday, April 6, Carnie Wilson premieres as the new host of GSN's "The Newlywed Game," which she filmed while she was five months pregnant -- and ET was behind the scenes.
ET confirms that 40-year-old singer Carnie Wilson is pregnant with her second child.OK! magazine was first to break the news and in the article Carnie reveals the unique way she shared the news with husband Rob Bonfiglio.
"Gone Country" stars Bobby Brown, Carnie Wilson and Maureen McCormick got along so well on that show that country music channel CMT is reuniting them for a second series, and challenging them to run an actual bed and breakfast in the country! They tell us all about roughing it in "Outsider's Inn," premiering on Friday, Aug. 15.
At today's press conference for CMT's upcoming show, "Outsiders' Inn," starring Maureen McCormick, Bobby Brown and Carnie Wilson, Wilson talked about her latest efforts to take off the weight she gained during her pregnancy three years ago.
"I have a three-year-old daughter, so I was afraid to leave for a month, but I got to cook every day. I was immersed in that which gave me joy," she says. "I have been on this health path right now. I cooked really fattening food on the show. I lost 11 pounds while we did it. I also woke up early and baked for everyone on the stage. I was in my element and I was ecstatic. It was so much fun. But I would eat and spit. Taste and spit."
The fourth cycle of "Celebrity Fit Club" comes to its grand finale this Sunday on VH1, and ET is on hand for the final weigh-in!
CARNIE WILSON, TINA YOTHERS ("Family Ties"), VINCENT PASTORE ("The Sopranos"), R&B singer ANGIE STONE, NICK TURTURRO ("NYPD Blue"), ERIKA ELENIAK ("Baywatch"), rapper BONECRUSHER and TED LANGE ("Love Boat") are the eight celebrities who signed up for the fourth season of the weight-loss competition. But for three of the gals -- Carnie, Tina and Erika -- it was a great opportunity to take off the weight they had gained having babies. It turned out to be more than that, though. The women also discovered dieting together was a great bonding experience.
It's BONECRUSHER's "Fatcrushers" against CARNIE WILSON's "Chili Con Carnie" team when the fourth season of "Celebrity Fit Club" takes to the racetrack this Sunday night on VH1! The super-sized celebrities are racing on recumbent bikes at the Irwindale Speedway in greater Los Angeles -- and each team has to complete the 10-mile circuit.
"I want to win," declares NICK TURTURRO, who gets angry when he feels one of his team members isn't pulling her weight. Later that day, Nick is questioned on his strong stance by psychologist/body image expert Dr. LINDA PAPADOPOULOS. He explains, "It is for the team. They don't get me. They go, 'He is angry.' You people are dead inside. I don't want to feel dead inside."
CARNIE WILSON has been one of our favorite "Weight-Loss Queens" since losing 20 dress sizes, following gastric bypass surgery in 1999. But the new mom packed on the pounds when she got pregnant with daughter LOLA. Since giving birth, she's lost a lot of the weight she gained, but with 40 more to go, Carnie signed up for the fourth season of "Celebrity Fit Club" to help her make her goal.
"I may be this person known as the spokesperson for gastric bypass, but I have struggles and challenges too. I'm only human," she tells ET's JANN CARL in a revealing interview.
Platinum recording artist CARNIE WILSON, TINA YOTHERS ("Family Ties"), VINCENT PASTORE ("The Sopranos"), R&B singer ANGIE STONE, NICK TURTURRO ("NYPD Blue"), ERIKA ELENIAK ("Baywatch"), rapper BONECRUSHER and TED LANGE ("Love Boat") -- the eight celebrities who signed up for the fourth season of "Celebrity Fit Club"-- had one last indulgence before beginning the stringent weight-loss program: A pig-fest at an ice cream parlor that turned into a food fight with all the toppings winding up airborne and sailing into their hair and down their shirts!
It was a fun start to a grueling diet and exercise regimen, but then it was down to business as usual as the plus-sized group is dunked in a water tank (to determine the percentage of their body fat), tested to see how many push-ups they can do, how fast they can run and how far they can jump -- all before facing the scale.
This summer, VH1's popular fitness, nutrition and drama series, "Celebrity Fit Club," is back for a fourth season, set to premiere on Sunday, July 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on the cable network.
Former "Family Ties" child-star TINA YOTHERS joins a brand-new pack of celebrities who are checking their bad eating habits at the scale for the ultimate fitness and nutrition challenge, hosted by actor/comedian ANT.
The birth of her daughter LOLA was the inspiration for CARNIE WILSON to head into the recording studio to record her first-ever solo album, A Mother's Gift: Lullabies From the Heart, a collection of new and old songs that will be in stores on Tuesday, May 2.
"I started recording this album about three months after Lola was born," Carnie tells ET's KEVIN FRAZIER, who visited with the former WILSON PHILLIPS band member and her famous BEACH BOYS father BRIAN WILSON. "I wanted to do songs that were touching and songs that had a loving message, a message of peace, safety and love."
