TV icon CAROL BURNETT returns to the small screen in "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" -- and ET was exclusively behind the scenes with the funny lady who takes a dramatic turn.
ET is there as the stars attend HARVEY KORMAN's funeral on Thursday. Co-stars and good friends CAROL BURNETT, TIM CONWAY, DICK VAN PATTEN, MEL BROOKS, RICHARD LEWIS and more were there to honor the late comedian, who passed away at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on May 29.
"Harvey would have loved it," Tim tells ET. "A lot of tributes and a lot of laughter, and I guess that's what it's all about."
TIM CONWAY talks to ET about the death of his partner in comedy, HARVEY KORMAN, which he learned about when Harvey's children phoned him. Korman passed away at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 29, after suffering a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm several months ago.
It was family day at the Saturday afternoon premiere of 'Horton Hears a Who!' and our own KEVIN FRAZIER was on the red carpet for all the wacky fun!
JIM CARREY came with his daughter JANE and his girlfriend, JENNY McCARTHY, and her young son EVAN, while his co-stars in the film, STEVE CARELL, CAROL BURNETT, new mom JAIME PRESSLY and WILL ARNETT ("Arrested Development") also showed up for the action. JOEY FATONE and family, along with BROOKE SHIELDS and her two daughters, also took in the animated film.

The best and the brightest from television history gathered at the 5th Annual TV Land Awards in Santa Monica, CA, on Saturday, and from the red-carpet fashion to the behind-the-scenes hijinks, ET has it covered.
Our THEA ANDREWS was there, getting the scoop from the stars, like presenter VALERIE BERTINELLI, who, as a recently announced JENNY CRAIG client, was looking good showing off her curves.
CAROL BURNETT has kept the world laughing with her numerous specials, a hit show and her knack for hilarious physical comedy. Now she's sitting down on the ET set with our MARY HART to talk about the highs of her life -- "The Carol Burnett Show" -- as well as the lows -- the untimely death of her daughter CARRIE.
"You never get over it," Carol says of her death. "But I can talk about her. I love to talk about her. She was a force."
It's a third go-round for TOM SELLECK, who stopped by ET to chat with MARY HART about the latest in a string of CBS TV movies about police chief Jesse Stone, a character written by ROBERT B. PARKER, who also wrote the Spenser For Hire series of books.
"In 1982, I was supposed to do a 'Spenser For Hire' movie before my pal BOB URICH got the series," the former "Magnum P.I." star tells Mary. "I couldn't do it because we couldn't time it with the time off I had from 'Magnum.' Bob used to kid me because he got to do this great character. To have another Robert Parker character come along kind of completes the circle."
Legendary comedian CAROL BURNETT is no stranger to soap operas. She guest-starred on her favorite daytime drama "All My Children" with Oscar® winner ELIZABETH TAYLOR, and now she tries her hand at a primetime sudser in a role that "Desperate Housewives" Creator/Executive Producer MARC CHERRY wrote just for her.
Burnett makes a one-time turn in this Sunday's episode as Bree's (MARCIA CROSS) tightly wound stepmother Eleanor Mason, who comes to town with Bree's dad (RONNY COX), when they learn her son Andrew (SHAWN PYFROM) is taking her to court.
One of the last things that Emmy Award®-winning actress CAROL BURNETT did with her daughter CARRIE HAMILTON was write Hollywood Arms, a play based on Carol's best-selling book, One More Time.
Carrie came up with the idea for the play, which premiered at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, before going to Broadway shortly after Carrie died of cancer on January 20th, 2002, and she convinced her mom to work with her on it. After all, it is based on Carol's memoirs.
TV's favorite father, ANDY GRIFFITH, is an American institution, and the well-loved star was honored as such this week when he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom Award from PRESIDENT BUSH. ET's MARK STEINES caught up with the 80-year-old star to discuss life, his career and receiving this monumental honor.
"It was quite a thrill," Andy tells Mark about receiving the award in his first-ever visit to The White House. "I won one Grammy® once, and I'll put that by that Grammy."
It was classic CHER when the pop diva performed the final show of her "Cher: The Final Tour" Saturday night at the Hollywood Bowl. The extravaganza included a dancing elephant, belly dancers and a video montage of footage from her early days with SONNY BONO, clips with CAROL BURNETT, ELTON JOHN and RAY CHARLES, plus footage of the three-year tour.
"What started out as a 59-date tour grew and multiplied beyond our wildest expectations," she told the audience. "Cher: The Final Tour" kicked off in June 2002, in Toronto and eventually went worldwide. Saturday night was the Oscar® winner's 325th performance.
TV Land takes to the airwaves with its third annual "TV Land Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV," a 90-minute tribute to the best of television, airing simultaneously on TV Land and Nick at Nite, Wednesday, March 16, at 9 p.m.
One of the special awards presented is the 2004 Future Classic Award, which is given out annually to the one new show that looks to become a classic. Last year, "Arrested Development" received the honor. This year, the immediate hit "Desperate Housewives" takes home the coveted prize.
LONI ANDERSON, famous for her amusing role on the hit show "WKRP in Cincinnati," opens up to ET about her secret bond with the late, great JOHNNY CARSON as we catch up with her at the "TV Land Awards: A Celebration of Classic TV."
"He produced a television series I did with LYNDA CARTER called 'Partners In Crime,'" she reveals of the comic. "He was fabulous."
