ABC will introduce seven new dramas, four comedies and one alternative series to its 2007-2008 primetime schedule, it was announced today by STEPHEN McPHERSON, President of ABC Entertainment. The seven dramas are "Big Shots," "Cashmere Mafia," "Dirty Sexy Money," "Eli Stone," "Private Practice," "Pushing Daisies" and "Women's Murder Club."
The comedies are "Carpoolers," about four guys from different backgrounds who use the commute to dish about their lives; "Cavemen," inspired by the popular Geico Insurance commercials, it looks at life through the eyes of three outsiders -- modern cavemen; "Miss/Guided," slated for mid-season, is the story of Rebecca Freely (JUDY GREER), who returns to her high school as a guidance counselor; and "Sam I Am," starring CHRISTINA APPLEGATE as a woman who has to start her life over with amnesia, and as she re-discovers her identity, she doesn't like what she discovers about who she was. "Oprah's Big Give" is the new alternative series in which millions of dollars are given away to make a difference in people's lives across the country.
