Catherine Bell segues from a very sexy year on "Army Wives" -- her character separated from her husband and had an affair with a paraplegic patient and she also made a love connection with a doctor -- to playing a witch on Hallmark Channel's "The Good Witch: Magic Never Fades."
In the premiere of "Army Wives," which aired on Lifetime TV last Sunday, the wives dealt with the devastation of the aftermath of a bomb explosion in which several members of the cast lose their lives, including Claudia Joy's (KIM DELANEY) daughter.
ET spoke to Kim about that episode, what lies ahead for the season and how the cast and crew, who are on location in Charlotte, NC, get along. Kim addresses the question: With all the estrogen on the set, are there catfights?
Former "JAG" star CATHERINE BELL and "NYPD Blue" star KIM DELANEY return to series television in "Army Wives," airing Sunday nights at 10 p.m. on Lifetime TV.
The series explores the people and the relationships of those left behind when their spouses go to war, including all of the cliques, friendships and problems of the women -- and one man -- who wait and worry. On "Army Wives," the group comes together because of its common bond.
Lifetime Television introduced a star-studded lineup of projects when it announced its upcoming slate of programs, premiering Monday, May 14 with the Lifetime Original Movie, "What if God Were the Sun?," starring GENA ROWLANDS and LACEY CHABERT in a story about a cynical emergency room nurse who forms a connection with a terminally ill patient that changes her life.
Of course, Lifetime Television is well-known for its Original Movies, but this summer, the network goes where no other basic cable network has gone before when it launches three new dramas for the same night of the week in the same season.
Now that his 10-year run of lawyering in the Navy has ended, "JAG" alum DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT headed to the beach -- but not for well-deserved R&R -- but rather for 140 miles of blood, sweat and maybe even some tears as he took part in the famously grueling Ironman Triathlon on Saturday!
"I find that it works its way into real life and you set these goals and complete them," he says about doing the famous race. "It translates into life really well and other challenges that you take up. It's also a great way to stay in shape!"
TOM CRUISE has made headlines in recent weeks for speaking out on everything from Scientology to psychiatric drugs. Tom's supporters and friends, like "JAG" alum CATHERINE BELL and 'Sky High' star KELLY PRESTON, come out in defense of the superstar.
"I think he's so cool for standing up for what he believes in," Bell told ET about Tom's war of the words over postpartum medication. "And for standing up for what a lot of people believe in.
After 10 years, DONALD P. BELLISARIO's "JAG" will broadcast its series finale on Friday, April 29, at 9 p.m. on CBS. The burning question for fans of the long-running military drama is: will there be a culmination to the sexual tension that has been steaming up the screen between Navy Cmdr. Harmon Rabb (DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT) and Marine Lt. Col. Sarah MacKenzie (CATHERINE BELL)?
"When CBS said, 'You are cancelled,' I rewrote the script, the scene between Harm and Mac," Bellisario explains. "I am not going to say what happens, but I think all the fans will be satisfied and I will be satisfied because it is an ending that still leaves something hanging in the air. [Viewers] can debate and everybody can have their own view of what happened in the end. I just wish I had a little more time to build up to it."
When we last saw "The O.C."'s Kirsten (KELLY ROWAN), she and Carter (BILLY CAMPBELL) had gotten a bit tipsy at a wine tasting -- so much so that they decided they couldn't drive home and checked into a hotel room. The sexual attraction between the two has been there since Campbell's character appeared on the scene, but will they act on it?
This Thursday is the perfect opportunity, when Sandy (PETER GALLAGHER), Seth (ADAM BRODY) and Ryan (BENJAMIN McKENZIE) travel to South Beach to visit the Nana (guest star LINDA LAVIN). Will a footlose and fancy-free Kirsten cheat on Sandy?
There's an aggressive new lawyer joining the "JAG" staff, who thinks he can get away with doing whatever it takes to win his case. That is, until he meets his match in Lt. Col. Sarah MacKenzie (CATHERINE BELL), who understands just what he is up to, because she wasn't so different herself years ago.
"Lt. Vukovic (CHRIS BEETEM) is from the street," Catherine tells ET on the set of the CBS military drama. "He gets the job done however it needs to be done, whether it is exactly ethical or not. His heart is in the right place, but he goes about it the wrong way. Mac is there for ethics and integrity.
The past comes back to haunt P.O. Coates (ZOE McLELLAN) in a big way on tonight's episode of "JAG," and Harm (DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT) once again must come to her rescue, this time trying to save her from a murder charge.
On tonight's ET, we're behind the scenes of the "There Goes the Neighborhood" episode, airing at 9 p.m., on CBS, to catch up with David and his co-star CATHERINE BELL.
Tonight's episode of "JAG," airing on CBS, at 9 p.m., is ripped from the headlines when Harm (DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT) and Mac (CATHERINE BELL) investigate allegations of prisoner abuse in a terrorist holding facility.
ET was on the set for the "Camp Delta" episode of the military drama, and on tonight's show we have a sneak peek of when the "JAG" legal team travels to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to get to the truth on the goings on.
The expression "red-hot mama" could have been created for CATHERINE BELL. Her upcoming Stuff magazine shoot, "Built For Speed," on newsstands Sept. 9, leaves little to the imagination -- from the tip of the new mother's head -- she gave birth to daughter GEMMA on April 16 this year -- to the heart tattoo on her ankle. And believe us, the shoot proves that Catherine is one sexy mama.
Stuff also reveals that the "JAG" star is addicted to speed. Be it motorcycles -- she owns nine -- to racing in the Toyota Pro-Celebrity Grand Prix in Long Beach, CA, Catherine believes, "More women need to ride. It's such a cool, liberating thing."
