ET confirms that BRITNEY SPEARS' appearance on the CBS comedy, "How I Met Your Mother," will air Monday, March 24. She will play Abby, a receptionist at Ted's (JOSH RADNOR) dermatologist's office. This will be her first acting gig since appearing on "Will & Grace" in 2006.
With the Writers Guild of America strike at an end, CBS today announced anticipated dates for the return of their most popular series with new episodes. The half-hour comedies will return as early as March 17, with dramas taking a bit longer. The majority of them will return in April, but "CSI: Miami" will be back as early as March 24.
The Emmy Award-winning BOB BARKER will host "The Price is Right Million Dollar Spectacular" tonight on CBS at 8 p.m., the first of two prime-time specials honoring the television veteran. Barker recently talked about calling it quits. "It really is sinking in," he says about ending his 50-year run on television. "I've discovered people are much nicer to me now that I've announced my retirement."
