JULIA ROBERTS is looking to tackle another real-life inspirational figure. The 'Erin Brockovich' star will play murdered wildlife conservationist JOAN ROOT in an upcoming biopic.

Inspired by a Vanity Fair article called "A Flowering Evil," the as-yet-untitled film will follow filmmaker Root's travels around the globe with her husband making nature documentaries.

A crew member was in critical condition after being injured on the set of 'Charlie Wilson's War,' a movie starring JULIA ROBERTS and TOM HANKS.

A special effects assistant working on the movie, which is currently being filmed in the Southern California city of Downey, was injured when a simulated stinger missile exploded incorrectly. The assistant was sent to an area hospital in critical condition.
