In order for CHRIS NOTH to reprise his role as the suave Mr. Big in 'Sex and the City -- The Movie,' he had to juggle that with his work on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," so he ran back and forth from the posh penthouses of Manhattan's Upper East Side to the body bags on the gritty "L&O" locales.
He tells ET's STEVEN COJOCARU, "I had very little sympathy from my crew from 'Law and Order.' I would get back from these marvelous shoots and I would have had the most awesome time with SARAH JESSICA PARKER. I would have the most fun with anybody I've ever worked with, and I love all my partners. I love my partner on 'Law & Order,' but there's just a sense of play with Sarah Jessica. It is what keeps us alive after all these years and fresh. But I would get back to the South Bronx, or wherever we were finding a body, and the crew would be waiting. 'Hey, Mr. Big. Should we get you a Cosmo before finding a body and find out why they blew their head off?'"

Mom SARAH JESSICA PARKER tells us she's over the moon to hear that her "Sex and the City" co-star, CHRIS NOTH, became a daddy on Friday. We have her happy reaction to the news!
"Law and Order: Criminal Intent" star CHRIS NOTH and his longtime love, TARA WILSON, are the proud parents of a baby boy!
Noth, who famously played "Mr. Big" on "Sex and the City," and Wilson welcomed ORION CHRISTOPHER NOTH on Friday, January 18 and the infant weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces.
CHRIS NOTH, who is known for both his role as Detective Mike Logan on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and Mr. Big on "Sex and the City," takes a break from doing double duty on the series and the new 'Sex and the City' movie to promote the mid-season finale of "Criminal Intent," airing Thursday, Dec. 13, at 10 p.m. on USA Network.
ET: How has it been balancing "Criminal Intent" with the 'Sex and the City' movie?
ET has confirmed that CHRIS NOTH, best known as Mr. Big on "Sex and the City," is going to be a daddy. The actor and his girlfriend, TARA WILSON, are expecting their first child.
"Chris and Tara are very happy and have always agreed to keep what is most personal in their lives private," Noth's rep tells ET.
ET has confirmed that Mr. Big himself - aka CHRIS NOTH -- has signed on to the new 'Sex and the City' movie!
Noth played the on-again, off-again love-interest of SARAH JESSICA PARKER character Carrie's on the hit HBO show and the last time we saw the pair, in the 2004 finale, he told Carrie that she was the one.
"Law & Order" is famous for ripping stories from the headlines. A perfect example is tonight's show, starring LIZA MINNELLI as a former beauty queen whose daughter was murdered on Halloween in 1992 -- the case is never solved until the present day, when a pedophile confesses.
But the series is also famous for recycling its talent. For example, CHRIS NOTH began his career on the mothership "Law & Order" as Detective Mike Logan, partnering with the late JERRY ORBACH, who played Detective Lennie Briscoe. Now Chris is on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," reprising his "L&O" character. He isn't the only actor on the show who has starred on a different series in the franchise. He was joined this season by JULIANNE NICHOLSON, who first became a part of the "L&O" family as a member of "Conviction." But on "Criminal Intent," she plays a different character.
