ET takes you down the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of 'Penelope,' starring REESE WITHERSPOON. Reese also produced the film, which opens in theaters February 29.

"It's about what we perceive to be ugly, not necessarily what is [ugly]," the actress recently told ET about the title character (played by Christina), who was born with a nose that literally looks like it belongs to a pig.

CHRISTINA RICCI may be co-starring in the upcoming asphalt-shredder 'Speed Racer,' but off-screen she apparently prefers the adrenaline rush of a straight flush, according to People.

"I've learned to love gambling," the former 'Addams Family' pixie confesses to the mag. "I was in Australia for a few months and gambling is like a national pastime there, so I learned to love betting on horses, and now I even put in a few football bets and I'm kind of obsessed and into it. Gambling is pretty good."

'Speed Racer' week continues on ET as another one of the film's stars, CHRISTINA RICCI, gives us a sneak peek behind the scenes of the highly anticipated movie due in theaters next May.

Directed by LARRY and ANDY WACHOWSKI (The 'Matrix' trilogy), 'Speed Racer' is a live-action version of the popular '60s cartoon series, with Christina playing Trixie and EMILE HIRSCH ('Into the Wild') taking on the titular role. "Lost" doc MATTHEW FOX has joined the cast of 'Speed Racer' as the mysterious Racer X, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Adapted from the '60s Japanese anime cartoon, 'Speed Racer' centers on a young driver, played by 'Alpha Dog' star EMILE HIRSCH, and his gadget-filled Mach 5 racecar.
