CLIVE OWEN and NAOMI WATTS will team up for the action-thriller 'The International', according to The Hollywood Reporter, with filming set to take place this fall in Berlin.
The plot follows Clive's Interpol agent, who aims to take down a corrupt banking institution responsible for arms brokering, corruption and murder -- with the help of Naomi's Manhattan assistant D.A.
'Sin City' scribe FRANK MILLER has been tapped to adapt and direct the RAYMOND CHANDLER novella Trouble is My Business with CLIVE OWEN to star, according to Daily Variety.
Owen previously starred as a Miller character in 'Sin City,' and the new project will give him an opportunity to embody hardboiled '40s private eye Philip Marlowe. HUMPHREY BOGART immortalized the character in 1946's 'The Big Sleep,' and Owen is primed to make the character his own as he solves tough-luck cases, seduces femme fatales and drowns his sorrows with the bottle.

Mankind faces the reality of early extinction and reluctant hero CLIVE OWEN may be the key to the world's survival in the futuristic thriller 'Children of Men,' in theaters now.
"When you start shooting and you realize there's no one cast under 20, it's a weird thing to take on," Clive tells ET about the project.
