"Moonlight" hottie Alex O'Loughlin returns to CBS tonight for a guest-starring role on an episode of "Criminal Minds," in which a serial killer sends the team a videotape detailing one of his crimes. On the tape, he includes a plea, asking them to help him stop his killing spree. But first, ET checks in with Alex to get his take on his turn to the dark side.

With the Writers Guild of America strike at an end, CBS today announced anticipated dates for the return of their most popular series with new episodes. The half-hour comedies will return as early as March 17, with dramas taking a bit longer. The majority of them will return in April, but "CSI: Miami" will be back as early as March 24.

For the second year, SHEMAR MOORE will lead the "Criminal Minds" team in the "2007 Start to Finish MS Bike Tour," which raises awareness and funding for The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event takes place Oct. 20 and 21.

Actor JOE MANTEGNA will fill in the space left behind by "Criminal Minds" star MANDY PATINKIN. The Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated Mantegna most recently appeared in the USA network miniseries "The Starter Wife."
Patinkin unexpectedly decided to leave the CBS crime drama last month.
