"I made a promise in Week Five that if I made it to finals, I was gonna take everyone that worked with me to Chile," Cristian told ET of a promise he made to his "Dancing with the Stars" colleagues when he appeared on the last season of the hit ABC dancing competition.
Cristian de la Fuente is on the "mooooove" in New York City! The "Dancing With The Stars" alum was spotted today with none other than Miss Maggie Moo, who was celebrating her birthday with a little help from Cristian and the kids from the city's Boys & Girls Club.

Former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant CRISTIAN DE LA FUENTE, who tore a muscle in his bicep during a routine on the show, underwent successful surgery Friday to repair the injury.
De la Fuente's doctor told ET: "Surgery went very nicely. I was able to get a perfect repair of the bicep. Cristian will spend about a week in a splint then start rehab. In approximately 3 months he will have a full recovery and full strength back."
After a thrilling sixth season, "Dancing with the Stars" crowned its new champion on Tuesday night. For the first time since season one, a woman was named queen of the dance floor -- Olympic gold medalist ice skater KRISTI YAMAGUCHI took home the mirror ball trophy!
The season finale opened with thoughts from the three finalists, Kristi, CRISTIAN DE LA FUENTE and JASON TAYLOR. Cristian, who tore a muscle in his bicep a few weeks ago during a routine and has danced with only one arm since, said the show made him realize: "In life, everything is possible if you really work hard for it." Jason said bashfully, "I feel like I've kind of, found a new me a little bit," and added jokingly that he'll dance in the future "for the right price."
Tomorrow night, "Dancing with the Stars"'s coveted disco ball trophy will be awarded to either KRISTI, CRISTIAN or JASON, and tonight, a man who knows what it feels like to win the show is backstage with the finalists! Monday night, "Dancing with the Stars" launched its semi-final night of competition with some strict rules: No lifts were allowed and the dancers chose their dances randomly, by drawing them out of a giant disco ball. The dances were dances that they had done before, but with new music and new choreography -- so there was a lot of work involved.
