Hollywood.tv spots Danny DeVito outside of Los Angeles eatery Dan Tana's where he comments on everything from the death of Ed McMahon to Daryl Hannah's recent arrest to his 'Twins' co-star and California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Danny DeVito is set to direct his own adapted screenplay, 'The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle,' which will star Pierce Brosnan, Morgan Freeman and 14-year-old Saoirse Ronan.
A press release said the family action adventure, set in 1832, is the story of a daring young girl (Ronan) who braves the dangerous high seas aboard a ship with a ruthless captain and a mutinous crew. It’s based on the top-selling, award winning novel of the same name.
DANNY DeVITO's appearance on "The View" Wednesday instantly became tabloid fodder, after rumors began circulating that the actor may have been slightly intoxicated while on the air.
DeVito has reportedly apologized to the show's creator and co-host, BARBARA WALTERS.
If outrageous comedy is your shtick, check out DANNY DeVITO, who marked his return to series television last season in the FX comedy, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," airing Thursday nights at 10 and 10:30 p.m., and is now returning for a second season.
Written by ROB McELHENNEY, GLENN HOWERTON and CHARLIE DAY, all of whom also star in the series, the comedy, set in Paddy's Pub, is no-holds-barred as it looks at social issues such as abortion, gun control and underage drinking. The pilot for the show was shot on home video.
'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' star BRAD PITT is joining a growing number of celebrities who are going solar -- and helping low-income families in the process! The mega-star joined his 'Fight Club' pal EDWARD NORTON in a special program called The Solar Neighbors Program (www.solarneighbors.com) -- and ET has the story!
"Any time a celebrity in any field buys a solar system for their home, BP Solar donates a matching system to a low-income family in Los Angeles," Norton tells ET. "It's been great. We've gotten 25 systems on different families' homes here in Los Angeles through celebrity purchases -- people like DANNY DeVITO and RHEA PERLMAN and PIERCE BROSNAN."
We first saw them create sparks onscreen together in 1994's 'Pulp Fiction.' Now, sexy siren UMA THURMAN reunites with her 'Pulp' pal and dance partner, JOHN TRAVOLTA, in the sequel to 'Get Shorty' -- 'Be Cool'!
"Uma is as sexy a kisser as she is a person," says John, who finally gets to lock lips with the 'Kill Bill' star in their latest escapade.
Life as portrayed in the upper-class neighborhood on "The O.C." is hardly the Cinderella existence one might expect. So it is no wonder that Marissa (MISCHA BARTON), who almost OD'd on pills and alcohol in season one, has gone from bad to bitter.
It didn't help that she and Ryan (BENJAMIN McKENZIE) broke up, her mother and father divorced, her mother remarried for money and her father took off to Hawaii.
"Survivor: All-Stars" got off to a whopping start following last Sunday's Super Bowl when 47.4 million viewers tuned in for the premiere. Episode two is back in the regular time slot, Thursdays at 8 p.m. on CBS, opposite NBC's Must-See TV series "Friends."
So who will dominate? This Thursday the equation comes down to: Can a naked RICHARD HATCH take on a not-quite-naked DANNY DeVITO? The choice is yours! On tonight's ET, we help you make the decision with sneak peeks at both hot series.
The charismatic EWAN McGREGOR has paired up in the movie world with beauties like the ravishing NICOLE KIDMAN ('Moulin Rouge') and the adorable RENÉE ZELLWEGER ('Down with Love'). But in 'Big Fish' he's teaming up with a not-so-glamorous gang of giants, witches and conjoined-twin lounge singers! Ewan sits down with ET to talk about his new buzz-worthy movie -- and warns all that this touching pic may require tissues for the tenderhearted.
Directed by TIM BURTON ('Edward Scissorhands,' 'Sleepy Hollow'), the dramedy revolves around Edward Bloom (played by 'Erin Brockovich's ALBERT FINNEY as the present-day Bloom and McGregor in the flashbacks). Known as a teller of tall tales, he often reflects on the journeys he made as a young man that took him through storybook exploits around the world.
It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it, and it looks as if that somebody is ET's CARLOS PONCE. We've already reported that the Latin superstar returned to the set of The WB's hit show "7th Heaven" to kiss JESSICA BIEL on-screen for that series' fall premiere.
But Jessica isn't the only lucky lady this fall. Carlos also shot the pilot for ABC's "Karen Sisco" (premiering Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 10 p.m.), in which he locks lips with series star CARLA GUGINO!
BEN STILLER and DREW BARRYMORE are shacking up -- in their next movie, of course.
The wacky pair star in 'Duplex,' a dark new comedy from director DANNY DeVITO, as a Manhattan couple who have one obstacle keeping them from having their dream home all to themselves -- a little old lady. When they realize the lady living in their duplex apartment will not move out and is nowhere near "kicking off," they hatch a plan to get rid of her once and for all...
