It will be four husband-wife teams vs. four parent-child teams when "The Biggest Loser" returns to NBC for season six. The weight-loss hopefuls include a mother and daughter who were estranged for more than five years, a father with more life-threatening health issues than any contestant in the history of the show and parents who want to get healthy to be better examples to their kids -- including their four-year-old daughter who already outweighs their seven-year-old son.

ET breaks the news that Alison Sweeney, soap star and host of "The Biggest Loser," is having a baby girl, and that the bundle of joy will be arriving sometime in January!
"I am feeling fantastic," Ali tells ET. "I have moments of extreme morning sickness, but I get through it. Hopefully, I will be past it soon."

The "34th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmys" have come and gone, and ET was backstage with some of your favorite daytime stars to get the buzz.
"I have some very interesting irons in the fire right now," said GENIE FRANCIS, who won her first-ever Emmy for her role as Laura on "General Hospital." "Something bubbling in primetime television. I can't quite talk about it yet, but it is looking good. There is also the possibility of making a movie of the week, and a possibility of visiting my home plate ['General Hospital']."

"Days of our Lives" star ALISON SWEENEY will be moonlighting in primetime as the host of NBC's reality weight-loss series, "The Biggest Loser." She will be replacing CAROLINE RHEA, who is moving on to other projects, when the series begins taping its fourth season this spring.
"Alison is an incredible talent and will bring not only a great fresh face to the show but a huge, loyal fan base," said BEN SILVERMAN, executive producer and Reveille CEO. "We are thrilled and look forward to another strong season."

CLAY AIKEN will appear on the daytime drama "Days of Our Lives," per People magazine. The singer will make a guest appearance as himself on December 22.
According to the magazine, Clay will perform "Everything I Have" from his latest release, A Thousand Different Ways.
