"Drop Dead Diva" is the story of a beautiful-but-vapid model who has a fatal car accident and is reincarnated into the body of a recently deceased attorney -- Jane (Brooke Elliott) -- who just happens to be plus size. This week, Delta Burke and Liza Minnelli guest star as two psychic sisters suing each other over their competing businesses.
Earlier this month, ET reported that DELTA BURKE had checked herself into a psychiatric clinic to adjust the medication she takes for depression. Now, the "Designing Women" star sits down with MARK STEINES to set the record straight.
ET confirms news that "Designing Women" star DELTA BURKE is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed mental health clinic.
Burke is getting help for depression, diabetes and other health problems. Her rep tells ET that this is not uncommon for the star, who checks in periodically for days at a time for assistance with her issues.

"Dancing with the Stars" runner-up MARIO LOPEZ has been set to host the "2007 Miss America Pageant," airing live from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Monday, January 29, at 8 p.m on CMT. JENNIFER BERRY of Oklahoma, the current Miss America, will crown her successor.
"Mario Lopez is a fantastic choice to host the '2007 Miss America Pageant.' With his soaring popularity, his former hosting experience and his undeniable charm, he will certainly excel as this year's host," says SARAH BROCK, CMT executive producer and vice president, production, music and events."
It's just one thing after another for DELTA BURKE and hubby GERALD McRANEY. First the "Designing Women" star was diagnosed with diabetes, then her hubby learned he had cancer and, most recently, Delta fell off a riser and fractured her ankle while rehearsing for her Los Angeles stage debut in DEL SHORES' Southern Baptist Sissies.
"I just laid there for a moment and then tried to get up," she recalls. "I was limping. I thought it was nothing. Then I got home that night and iced it, but I looked like the elephant man the next day. It was not pretty. I thought, 'This is not going to work at all.' I had to go in and see the doctor and get x-rays."
With hundreds reportedly dead and even more left homeless throughout Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, Hurricane Katrina has left catastrophic damage and destruction in its wake. Now, from OPRAH WINFREY to KELLY CLARKSON, Hollywood is pitching in to help.
MICHAEL JACKSON announced Tuesday he will record a hurricane relief song, "From the Bottom of My Heart," with 100% of proceeds going towards the victims of Hurricane Katrina. In a statement, Jackson said: "It pains me to watch the human suffering taking place in the Gulf Region of my country. My heart and prayers go out to every individual who has had to endure the pain and suffering caused by this tragedy. I will be reaching out to others within the music industry, to join me in helping to bring relief and hope to these resilient people who have lost everything."
The footage of Hurricane Katrina is heartbreaking and the images are shocking. Among the one million people who were evacuated out of New Orleans and surrounding areas were a number of stars in town for various projects, including "Xena" actress LUCY LAWLESS.
She was in the city shooting the made-for-TV movie "Vampire Bats." The actress was one of the mass swarm of people who fled the devastating storm, which has left New Orleans 80 percent under water, has reportedly left more than a 100 -- and possibly thousands -- dead, and did catastrophic damage to the rest of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.
As Hurricane Katrina stormed through New Orleans many Hollywood stars in town fled the city in search of safety. From BRENDAN FRASER to MICHAEL KEATON to HILARY SWANK we know where the stars are now.
The production for the movie 'The Last Time,' starring 'Crash' star Fraser and 'White Noise' actor Keaton, was halted due to Katrina. ADAM ROSENFELT, President of Element Films, issued the following statement:
