The rumors are true! Michael J. Fox will return to TV in a four-episode guest stint on Denis Leary's FX firefighting drama, "Rescue Me," the Associated Press reports.

According to the AP, Fox will play a wheelchair-bound new boyfriend of Tommy Gavin's (Leary) estranged wife Janet (Andrea Roth). The 'Back to Future' star's character will first appear on the show's fifth season premiere, hitting small screens in spring of 2009.

"Grey's Anatomy" and "Lost" are two of the hottest shows on TV, but neither series has a candidate in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series race for the 58th Annual Emmy® Awards. So, what's up with that? ET turned to Emmy expert TOM O'NEIL for his take on the slight.

"Considering the huge popularity of 'Grey's Anatomy,' it is a surprise that the actors didn't get in there," says Tom, who has up-to-date awards show news on his Web site theenvelope.com. "There are just too many great male dramatic performances this year to accommodate them all. That is why we don't have PATRICK DEMPSEY, HUGH LAURIE and JAMES GANDOLFINI. This is shocking, but the five guys who made the cut all gave superb performances."
